Real Ones has received enormous critical praise after two albums on their own label. This is Camping and follow up, Home With The Girls In The Morning has firmly established Real Ones as Norway’s most exciting act, and the single Ballad Of An Old Man was nominated for ‘song of the year’ by the Norwegian composer association (TONO).
Hailing from Bergen, Norway; a city that has already provided the likes of Royksopp, Annie, Kings of Convenience and Sondre Lerche, - Real Ones more than deserve being born from such an intimate and acclaimed stable of artists. When you listen to Real Ones you'll hear the zany joy of The Flaming Lips, the cocooning otherworldly warmth of alt-country lynchpins Wilco, with the universal thoughts and perspectives of The Band. But ultimately, you'll hear Real Ones, and that's one glorious world to find yourself floating in.

Ones have signed with Warner Music and their third album ”All For The Neighbourhood” (2008) received great reviews. The norwegian newspaper Dagbladet said: ”Real Ones have for a long time been one of Norways best liveband. Maby they are Norways best band, period”. 5/6. |
