Real Ones are pleased to announce details of a London gig in February.
The Bergen five-piece will play The Electroacoustic Club at The Slaughtered Lamb in London on the 13th February, to promote the release of their debut UK single, 'Outlaw'. The limited edition 12" is released through Telle Records on the 25th February.
If Lennon and McCartney had devised the concept of Sgt Pepper some forty years later, pulsing with Scandi blood and toying early with the promotion of ‘free love!’, they would have devised a very basic blueprint for Real Ones.
"Outlaw" is a wonderful introduction to the band. It combines those warm and textured folk harmonies, and intersperses them with the surreal beauty of sound created by instruments of Eastern origin such as the Bouzouki and Indian Jaisalmer violin. Devilishly intoxicating melodies and harmonies joust with the spirit of blissful Bergen.
