This weekend Alexander Rybak won the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow with his song “Fairytale”.
Rybak beat out contestants from 42 countries and won
with 387 points, the most in the contest’s 53 year history.
The contest was broadcast throughout Europe
with an estimated audience of more than 100 million viewers.
Rybaks’s single “Fairytale” is the #1 song on iTunes
in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Benelux, Spain, Greece, Ireland,
Switzerland, #2 in France and Austria, #3 in the UK.
Alexander Rybak’s album “Fairytales” is due for
release first week of June all over Europe.
